All You Need to Know about TSYS Reports

Overview

The TSYS Reports page provides comprehensive visibility into your payment activity across ACH funding, card transactions, batch settlements, and chargebacks. Each report presents structured, actionable data to help you reconcile payments, track transaction performance, and manage disputes efficiently. Use these reports to support daily operations, financial reporting, and compliance needs.

ACH Funding

In your ACH Funding report, you will find a table with the following information:

  • Date – The date the ACH funding transaction was processed or recorded in the system.
  • Location – The merchant location or business unit associated with the ACH funding transaction.
  • Account # – The internal account or reference number used to identify the funding account.
  • Type – The type of ACH transaction (for example, credit or debit).
  • Routing – The bank routing number used to direct the ACH transaction to the correct financial institution.
  • Account – The bank account number associated with the ACH funding transaction.
  • Amount – The monetary value of the ACH funding transaction.

Transactions

In your Transactions report, you will find a table with the following information:

  • Summary – The amounts involved in transactions, broken down by source (card issuer, pin debit, EBT food stamps and EBT cash benefits) for a given time period.
  • Date – The date the transaction record was generated or reported.
  • Location – The merchant location where the transaction took place.
  • Account # – The internal account or merchant account number associated with the transaction.
  • Batch – The batch identifier under which the transaction was settled.
  • Terminal ID – The unique identifier of the payment terminal used to process the transaction.
  • Transaction Type – The type of transaction processed.
  • Card Type – The card brand used for the transaction (for example, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover).
  • Last 4 – The last four digits of the card number used in the transaction.
  • Amount – The total monetary amount of the transaction.
  • Auth Code – The authorization code returned by the card network or issuing bank.
  • Invoice # – The invoice or reference number associated with the transaction.
  • Transaction Date – The date and time when the transaction was originally processed.

Batch

In your Batch report, you will find a table with the following information:

  • Summary – The amounts processed in batches, broken down into Sales, Refund and Net amounts, for a specific time frame.
  • Date – The date the batch record was generated or reported.
  • Location – The merchant location associated with the batch.
  • Account # – The internal account or merchant account number associated with the batch.
  • Batch Number – The unique identifier assigned to the batch during settlement.
  • Terminal ID – The unique identifier of the payment terminal that processed the batch.
  • Sales Count – The total number of sales transactions included in the batch.
  • Sales Amount – The total monetary value of all sales transactions in the batch.
  • Refund Count – The total number of refund transactions included in the batch.
  • Refund Amount – The total monetary value of all refund transactions in the batch.
  • Net Count – The net number of transactions in the batch after accounting for refunds.
  • Net Amount – The net monetary amount of the batch after sales and refunds are applied.

Chargebacks

In your Chargeback report, you will find a table with the following information:

  • Location – The merchant location associated with the chargeback.
  • Account # – The internal account or merchant account number associated with the chargeback case.
  • Case Number – The unique identifier assigned to the chargeback or dispute case.
  • Item Type – The type of chargeback item or adjustment (for example, chargeback, retrieval request, or reversal).
  • Dispute Date – The date the chargeback or dispute was initiated.
  • Reason – The reason code or description provided by the card network or issuing bank for the chargeback.
  • Transaction Reference – The reference identifier of the original transaction being disputed.
  • Last 4 – The last four digits of the card number used in the disputed transaction.
  • Amount – The monetary amount disputed in the chargeback.
  • Transaction Date – The date the original transaction was processed.
  • Charged Against – The account or funding source against which the chargeback amount was applied.
