Create and customize your MX ePay portal to let customers securely view and pay their invoices online with your own branding and payment options.

Overview

The MX ePay option on MX Merchant allows you to create your customized portal for customers to view their invoices for your business. It's a simple task that can make life easier for you and your customers.

Prerequisites

You must have an Admin, Sub-Admin or Supervisor role.

Creating your Portal

Upon clicking MX ePay in the Settings page, you'll see following options:

Subdomain – Specifies the custom web address customers will use to access your receipts page.
Branding – Contains the visual and identity settings for your receipt page:
- Company Name – Displays your business name on the receipt page and customer communications.
- Primary Color – Defines the main color used throughout your receipt page to match your brand identity.
- Payment Methods – Lists the accepted payment options that will appear to your customers.
- Logo – Uploads your business logo to display on your receipt page and digital receipts.

To create your MX ePay portal:

Type in a Subdomain that suits your business, which your customers will be able to access. It will always have the domain mxepay.com.
in Primary Color, click on the box and select a color by either:

Dragging the nodes to adjust to the desired color. This option works best if you are not sure about what color you should use, and want to experiment with different ones.

Entering the color numbers in RGB format. This option is best if your company already has a color identity that must be strictly followed.

Select the Payment Method that you'll allow for your invoices: Credit Card or ACH. Remember to select at least one of them.
Upload your Logo by clicking Upload File and selecting an image file from your device.
Save.

What Customers will See

Once your customers enter your MX ePay portal, they will need to log in.

After doing so, they'll be able to see and pay their invoices.
